What are the 12 Zodiac Signs?

Zodiac signs are the cornerstone of Astrology. There are twelve zodiac signs. Your zodiac sign is determined by your month and date of birth.

Each zodiac sign represents a personality and character type. Zodiac signs explain how and why you are who you are. Each zodiac sign operates in its own unique way. Knowing what each sign is about gives you insight into your own personality and character traits and also how people who have that sign think, feel, act, perceive, and interpret life.

At this point I usually hear grumbling noises from the people in the back. I’m used to it. They complain that the world has more than just twelve types of people. I agree. No pushback here. But there are some core elements of personality that people share if you think about it. Some people are leaders. Some prefer to be followers. There are also artists, dreamers, rebels, and bullies, just to name a few. While the people who fit into these categories could be of different ages, races, colors, genders, ethnicities, or cultures, they share the same approach to life. These character types are referred to as archetypes.

One of the most popular archetypes is the “hero.” All heroes have certain things in common. They want to save the world, are committed to justice, and look good in a costume. But I digress. Zodiac signs are like archetypes. They represent a type of person.

Here’s a handy guide to find out what each Zodiac sign is and what’s it’s all about:

What’s your Zodiac sign? Do you identify your Zodiac sign?

Tip: Compare the characteristics of your zodiac sign to your personality traits. How are you similar or different? You can learn a lot about who you are by reflecting on how you’re like or not like your sign
