Modes are zodiac signs that have similar behaviors
Modes define how you operate in life. In other words, they influence how you roll. Modes explain your natural impulses or instincts when taking action.
There are three modes: Cardinal, Fixed, and Mutable. They denote the beginning, middle, and end of the four seasons. If you think about it, each season feels different and has a different kind of energy. Even if you live in a consistently warm or cold climate, you may still feel a distinct change of energy depending on the time of year.
Cardinal signs: Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn
They: want to go forward and plant new ideas
They’re motivated to: start things
Cardinal signs start every season—Aries kicks off Spring, Cancer starts summer, Libra begins Fall, and Capricorn is the first winter sign
Fixed signs: Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius
They: want to set a secure foundation
They’re motivated to: maintain things
Fixed signs fall in the middle of every season. After the Cardinal signs kick something off, Fixed signs make sure it lasts
Mutable signs: Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces
They: have flexibility and adaptability to change things that may not be working
They’re motivated to: transform things
