Why Does Astrology Work?
Well, there’s a lot of disagreement. Many astrologers think it’s related to something called correspondences. They believe that there are meaningful coincidences between what happens above and below. But they don’t think that the planets actually affect us on Earth.
There are other astrologers, however, that are starting to believe that the planets do influence us directly. They point to concepts in quantum physics like resonance and vibration. They think that planets emit frequencies or waves that vibrate out and affect each of us energetically.
Even the famous scientist Nikola Tesla once said, “If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency, and vibration.” The basic theory is that each planet sends out a specific frequency. It’s like they have their own radio stations. Instead of broadcasting songs, they emit energetic wave lengths. That could explain why they each have a different way of influencing you. One’s on FM and the other on AM.
Science is beginning to conclude that everything has a vibration, including us. Think about it. We reference it all the time when we say things like, Oh that Maddy. She’s always so positive. She’s got a great vibe. Sometimes Maddy’s vibe is so strong that she puts us in a good mood. So it’s not far-fetched to think the massive planets emit vibes that can affect us too.
Another possible reason that planets influence us is due to our DNA. We’re made up of the same materials as the universe. We really are star children. The scientist Neil de Grasse Tyson was quoted as saying “The atoms of our bodies are traceable to stars. We are not figuratively, but literally stardust.” Talk about relatable.
So if we’re cosmic powder in human form, and everything is about vibration, could that mean we’re resonating with the universe on a cellular level? Could our bodies and minds be radio receivers picking up transmissions from ten planetary channels? Are we human antenna picking up their frequencies? Makes sense to me. I’m confident that someday soon we’ll have the instrumentation to prove exactly how astrology works. Then I’ll throw a massive party.
