The Moon Phases

The Moon has eight phases over the course of every month. Each phase has its own energy and function. The Moon’s cycle begins with a new Moon. It’s the first phase. This is when there’s little to no Moon visible in the night sky.

The next three Moon phases are considered “waxing,” which means the strength of the Moon’s power is increasing. The fifth Moon phase is the full Moon. This is when the Moon is at its fullest and brightest. The remaining three phases are when the Moon is “waning” or decreasing in light and strength.

If the Moon affects your energy level and emotions, it makes sense to plan your activities around it. That way you can use the energy of each Moon phase for your advantage.
